"PASSION CONCERT: A GRATEFUL HEART" SUCCESSFUL

It was truly a thankful night as 69 people gave their life to Christ during the WWCF Passion Concert last night. A packed ground floor of the sanctuary sang in unison, praised as one and prayed as one heart.

It was a mixture of dance, different ranges of songs (English and Tagalog) and colorful play of lights and sounds. It was an awesome night.

We thank you for being part of it. I am praying that events like these will be instrumental in bringing more people to God.

AFTERTHOUGHTS ON TNW - Sept. 25, 2008

Again, the rains have poured. Yet, the TNW harvesters have come. Thanks so much. I do appreciate it tremendously.

We talked about "YOU ARE" tonight. I had to stress this part because every promise stated by God in the Bible are for us. But if we don't understand the gravity of it, then it would be useless. Jesus said it and it is the truth. YOU ARE BLESSED. YOU ARE IMPORTANT. YOU ARE VALUABLE. These are encouraging word of God and it is true.

About six to eight people came to Christ last night. Folks. This is why we exist. We exist to help others find Jesus. I couldn't help by be teary-eyed.

Next week, Bro. Gerry Holloway will be speaking to us. I'm sure it will be another powerful night.

We will continue the SALT AND LIGHT series on October 9 and 16, 2008.

Last week, I asked every attendee of the TNW congregation to bring ONE FRIEND to church next week.

Well, that week has come. TOMORROW, September 24, 2008, I'd like to ask you to bring your friend to THURSDAY NIGHT WORSHIP (TNW) for a night of inspiration, encouragement and empowerment. Join us as we have a wonderful time together.

Also, let me encourage you to pray that we have good weather. Somehow, the rain affects our attendance.

Thank you for coming tonight. We had a great attendance (319 people). Bro. Gerry Holloway preached a convicting and powerful sermon about how God continues to call us even if we run from Him. I do hope we don't run away but run towards him.

I asked each one from the congregation to bring one person to the service. Just ONE. Again, the HARVEST is plenty. You are the worker God is asking to GO. I do hope you can take part in bringing them to the storehouse of God.

Tonight, we spoke about God looking for HARVESTERS taken from Matthew 9:35-38. Those who are Christians are HARVESTERS.

YOU are a HARVESTER.

Many people around you are lost and need a word of hope. You have that word. Why don't you share it?

The eternal destination of others depends on you because you have the key to their salvation - JESUS. May God give you the COMPASSION to reach out to the lost.

You may not know everything about the Bible. But there is one thing you do know - that God worked in your life and that he can make it happen for others.

Harvester, may I suggest you ask them to TNW next week? Just ask. You might be surprised with the answer.

It's been raining very hard these past few days. Even today was no exception. In spite of the potential downpour of rain tonight which always affects our attendance, THANK YOU for coming tonight. Truly, you are the TNW Faithful.

Thank you for coming to TNW last night.

From the start of the service, you can feel the Spirit of God truly working. The songs pierced our hearts. The sermon given by Bro. Louie was truly inspiring. People came in droves to be anointed with oil. Remarkable.

I will post the pictures here soon. It captured the moments where God was truly at work.

I am praying that the moving of the Lord continues at TNW. We do hope that TNW become bigger and better every week. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Hello folks.

I just want to thank you for visiting the website as often as you can. Also, I'd like to thank you for signing up in our Friendster network, Multiply network and the Yahoo! Group. We do try our best to make the TNW experience beyond the four walls of the sanctuary. If you're not part of it, we hope you can. The links are here on the site.

We've been working on the TNW service for quite some time. It's been a month since we had our VISION THURSDAY. We set our goals and put some plans on the table. It's all good.

It's been a very challenging month. The weather has not been very cooperative with our 500 people attendance goal. The rain affects our attendance. Yet, people still came.

We launched our RECONNECT series and it has received some great reviews. The pastors have done an excellent job in preaching the topic. Awesome!

This coming September 4, we will have the WORSHIP XP event on TNW. It's a very special night because we will be converging at the sanctuary and pray that God helps us to WIN THE CITY FOR CHRIST. I have a very heavy burden to reach the lost in Makati. I believe TNW has been called to push that agenda.

Folks. I won't be bashful. I do need you guys to be there. We need all of you to make this happen. Let me encourage you to join us at TNW WORSHIP XP.

What is TNW's future? It's bright. Very bright. I remain optimistic that we will reach TNW's goals in due time. I am encouraged by your attendance every Thursday. We appreciate you for the e-mails and messages you send us. You help us make things better.

Personally, I want to thank my WWCF co-pastors for their unwaivering support to TNW. I want to thank the workers who have been instrumental in making TNW a wonderful place to be in. Also, thanks to the ministries who have been part and will be part of TNW in the future. Thanks to the worship teams who have led the congregation to the throne room of God.

It's been a month of great times. With your support, we believe this is just the beginning of something BIG!

TNW SPEAKLIFE IS A SUCCESS IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE

Greetings folks!

I am very happy to let you know that TNW SpeakLIFE presents CHOICES was a rousing success. It has surpassed our expectations and have become a source of encouragement for those who have been planning and praying for the event.

August 7 was dubbed as an evangelistic event. It was an invitation to encourage and enlighten those who needed some guidance and empowerment. Before the service started, the place was starting to fill with people. I was amazed how people came early while we were setting up the sound system and the visuals. There was a look of anticipation in their eyes. I, too, join with them.

After a wonderful praise and worship, I saw a multitude of people. Comparing to the previous Thursdays, that night was different. There were more. According to our official count, there were 400 people who attended the event.

Then, we talked about the importance of making the right choice and was ushered to different observations about the choices we make. In the end, we looked at John 3:16 in a different light and saw that God also chose. He chose to love us and still give us a chance. Jesus chose to give His life for us. Thus, we asked those listening to make a choice - will you choose Jesus?

The worship team sang. You can feel something good is about to happen. And so it did. 18 people came forward and gave their life to Christ. These people were emotional as they prayed the sinner's prayer. The congregation congratulated them with a loud clap offering for making the most important decision of their life.

Afterward, we had a time of fellowship. Coffee and cookies were served for FREE while people talked and got acquainted.

Till now, I am still awestruck with what God is doing in Thursday Night Worship (TNW) and in WORD FOR THE WORLD. I believe that things are getting better.

I am excited for next week. What will happen? Will there be more people? Will there be more who will give their lives to Jesus? I am hoping.

In behalf of the pastoral staff and the people who work hard to make the church better, we say THANK YOU for partnering with us in WINNING MAKATI FOR CHRIST. We are a step closer in achieving this goal. Please do invite your friends again to TNW.

I am truly excited with what will happen to THURSDAY NIGHT WORSHIP (TNW) this coming July 31 as we have VISION THURSDAY.

For an organization (and even an individual), VISION is VITAL. Vision sets direction and fuels your passion to achieve something greater than the NOW. However, our VISION is different from man's vision because our VISION comes from God.

One thing about VISION is that it paints a picture of a future that has not happened yet. Not everyone will believe your vision because some people believe only with their physical eyes. VISION is all about FAITH. Believing in what is not there and working hard to make it real and tangible.
